If Itachi and Sasuke meet and their meeting will still result in Sasuke going up against Naruto (the final battle of the manga, according to Kishi) then there’s no hope left for that guy. And it better not be like “you are already dead, this is some sort of trick” cuz that’s just too pathetic.
Symbolically, if Sasuke were to see things “through his brother’s eyes” he should have become a good person after the eye transfer. Sasuke was AWESOME in this chapter. He’s completely nuts. His facial expressions in this chapter really showed how far gone he is, especially this one. As for his new Susano’o ability, it will no doubt destroy many Kage Bunshins. It’s the perfect ability for a classic “multi kill”. Now I’m really hoping for a Naruto vs Sasuke with all the rookies present to watch. I just wonder how Kishi will make them stay irrelevant in the fight in a logical way. Perhaps if Naruto is able to put up a massive barrier like the one Minato put up.

1.) This does seem to involve Law in a way, its hinting and Oda might not reveal him in this. He most likely just passed by and the Samurai challenged him. As for the guy on the den den saying its cold. What if somehow it IS the Samurai? Perhaps his top half is in the ice region of that island?
Actually I’m thinking it’s the opposite, the one who said it was cold was possibly one of the kidnappers , possibly in the same group as the ones who kidnapped Team Sanji. Remember that that person said “We’re currently on Punk Hazard”, “Is this boss?” and finally “They keep getting killed by the samurai”. This proves that the Samurai was going berserk on possibly some faction of kidnappers when he suddenly faced the one responsible for his current situation.
In my opinion this weakens the Law theory since the Samurai was angry at a Shichibukai, but did not call the culprit by that title, in fact he didn’t recognise him at all. Then we have the lower body actually talking without a mouth and finally the fact that the diced up head was brought back to the facility. This means that if it was Law, he’s not only mixed up with this strange group, but he’s also a kidnapper of children. While I can accept him becoming a shichibukai, I can not see him as a kidnapper…

It is a possibility since the shinigami did kill the Quincy’s perhaps they didn’t take the time to find their hollow versions and purify them, instead they just let it be. By doing that the hollow versions pretty much consumed one another to make some weird hybrid Quincy/Hollow form, but the only problem with that is what Hiyori said about smelling a shinigami and then seeing what looked like a hollow gate opening. It’s possible that’s where Ivan appeared from so perhaps he is an arrancar, but arrancar have powers of a shingami/hollow it’s just that even if he was previously a quincy, a quincy’s power appears to come from being alive, so by being a dead/soul he obtained the powers of both a hollow/shinigami but his soul is that of the Quincies that were killed years ago.
I do doubt that it’s the 2 shinigami’s like someone guessed earlier since Kubo does have a bad habit of leaving out characters expressions or reactions even when they are still in the scene. Kinda like how Ishida pretty much disappeared near the end of the fight with Ichigo/Ginjou.
